Trigo AB: from a template site to a custom growth platform
Project: how Trigo AB moved from a limiting template site to a fast, SEO-ready website built for growth in Arlöv and Skåne.

Last week the new website for Trigo AB went live. Trigo is a recycling company in Arlöv, Skåne. The project ran over a longer period with one goal: a site that matches the business, its environmental work, and its growth plans.
TL;DR: Trigo AB replaced a limiting template site with a custom, faster website with stronger mobile UX, local SEO, and clearer contact paths. The point was a platform for growth, not only a prettier layout.
Contents
The previous site used a ready-made template on a standard host. It worked for a while, but the limits made it hard to evolve the site as fast as the business needed.
The challenge
Trigo AB needed a website that would:
- Reflect the company's quality standard and industrial identity
- Present environmental work in a credible way
- Work clearly on phone, tablet, and desktop
- Perform better in search engines and AI-driven answer tools
- Support traffic and behaviour tracking
- Create more natural ways for prospects to get in touch
Performance also needed work. Slow loads hurt both user experience and search visibility.

Compare before and after. Drag the vertical handle. The solution
The brief was not only a nicer design. The focus was a platform that supports continued growth.
Performance
Faster loads through leaner code, compressed images, and fewer unnecessary assets in the critical view.
SEO, AEO, and GEO
Structure, metadata, and copy were tuned for classic SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and local SEO around Arlöv, Malmö, and Skåne. Headings, entities, and place signals are clearer than on the old template.
Mobile experience
A responsive layout where hero, navigation, and CTAs stay clear on a phone as well as on a desk screen.
Mobile: clearer messaging, stronger CTAs, and a design that matches the brand.
User experience
Clearer information structure, simpler navigation, and shorter paths to contact and ordering. Visitors should quickly understand what Trigo does and what to do next.
Analytics and follow-up
Tracking for traffic, keywords, conversions, and behaviour so decisions can rest on data instead of guesswork.
The result
Trigo AB now has a modern, faster, more future-ready website that reflects the company much better than before. It also gives stronger odds of reaching customers across Malmö and the wider Skåne region. See also the Trigo AB portfolio case for more on the delivery.
Mobile hero after launch: local roots in Arlöv and a clear offer for Skåne.

Next steps
Work continues with a custom purchasing application. The goal is one place where operators can run the full purchase flow: documentation, pricing, signing, bookkeeping support, and direct Swish payouts.
Digitising and automating those workflows cuts admin while improving traceability and safety.
FAQ
What was wrong with the old Trigo site?
It was built on a ready-made template. That limited design, performance, and how fast new features could ship as the business grew.
What do SEO, AEO, and GEO mean here?
SEO is classic search visibility. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) makes content easy for AI answers to quote. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) means citable passages, clear entities, and technical accessibility so tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity can reference the site reliably. Local SEO for Arlöv and Skåne is a separate track.
Was this only a redesign?
No. Design matters, but the work also covered performance, structure, contact paths, local visibility, and measurement for follow-up.
Would the same approach fit other Skåne companies?
Yes. Especially service and industrial firms that have outgrown a template and need a site they can keep extending.
What comes after the website?
A purchasing app that gathers documentation through Swish payout in one flow, with less manual work.
How does a similar web project start with IvyyDev?
Web projects often start with a free concept prototype so you see the direction before larger work. Then a quote by scope.
Thanks for the trust
As a solo developer, it is rewarding to follow a company over time and help with its digital path. A big thank you to Trigo AB for the trust. I look forward to continuing with both the web platform and upcoming systems.
