    • With editable content: You publish often yourself via admin. Not the same as Care.
    • Want to avoid a lump sum? Website subscription (Care = Basic-level; Growth if you need forms/integrations).

    Hosting and ongoing costs

When you buy a website, ongoing hosting and domain costs are usually your responsibility. This gives you full control and keeps costs predictable.

    You handle hosting

Hosting, domain registration, and SSL certificates are typically your responsibility. This means you control the recurring costs and can switch providers anytime.

    • I help you choose and set up hosting
    • You pay hosting costs directly to provider
    • Full control over your hosting account

    Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about buying a custom website.

What are the starting prices for a custom website?

Basic websites start from SEK 8,500, websites with contact forms from SEK 11,500, and websites with editable content from SEK 15,000. These are starting prices based on typical scope.

Who handles hosting after I buy the website?

Usually you handle ongoing hosting, domain registration, and SSL certificates with your chosen provider. I can recommend hosting services and help with the setup, but you pay those recurring costs directly. Or choose Webbops (from SEK 595/month) if you want IvyyDev to handle hosting and ongoing website care on a site you already own. Webbops is not Website Care.

    What stack do you use?

I build custom websites with modern React and Vite, tailored to your business. That gives you solid performance, a clear codebase, and room to add features later.

What is the difference between buying a website and a subscription?

When you buy a website, you pay once and own it from day one. With a website subscription, you pay monthly and get hosting and ops included. Care is Basic-level without a form. Need forms or integrations on subscription: choose Growth. At Basic level, buy + Webbops is already cheaper than Care in year 1. Care/Growth have a 24-month initial term; Webbops has 1-month notice.

What do integrations and new features cost?

Beyond the package scope: quote or SEK 900/hour after approval. Same principle as on Growth. Integrations count as new features, not as Webbops minute budget.

What does the free prototype include?

After a short intro call, I build a clickable concept prototype showing layout, structure, and feel. You can see the direction before committing to the full build. It is not a complete free website but shows what we would create together.

    What is Webbops?

Webbops is optional ongoing care for websites you already own that were built by IvyyDev. From SEK 595/month it includes hosting, SSL, backups, maintenance and updates, deployment, technical support for the website, and up to 30 minutes of minor content updates per month. It is not unlimited website work, and it is not the same as website subscription (Care).

What counts as a minor content update in Webbops?

Small text, image, or link changes that fit within about 30 minutes per month. Unused minutes do not roll over.

What if work takes more than 30 minutes?

Extra work is quoted at SEK 900/hour and only starts after you approve it.

Do I still own the website with Webbops?

Yes. You already own the site. Webbops is operations and care on top of ownership, not a lease of the product.

    How do I cancel Webbops?

One month notice. There is no 24-month lock-in like the Website as a Service plans.

Can Webbops cover a site someone else built?

No. Webbops is only for websites built by IvyyDev, so I know the stack and can take real responsibility.

What counts as a bug, minor content change, or new feature?

Bug: something that was meant to work but does not, fixed within reasonable support. Minor content change: text, image, or link within the minute budget. New feature: new capability, new logic, or an integration, quoted or billed hourly after approval.
